5. Post-Construction Stormwater Management

Objective:

Develop, implement and enforce a program to address discharges of post-construction stormwater runoff from new development or redevelopment areas.

This objective is accomplished by:

The MS4’s in the Ontario-Wayne Stormwater Coalition (OWSC) inspect the post-construction phase of stormwater management practices to ensure that the design follows the approved Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the project. The MS4’s monitor the post-construction stormwater management practices within their municipal boundaries as necessary and per the individual SWPPP’s. Inspection reports are kept on file at each MS4 office.
