Stormwater runoff flows into storm sewer systems or directly into lakes, streams, rivers or wetlands, potentially contaminating the water we use for drinking, swimming and fishing, and threatening the health of fish and other aquatic life.
The OWSC has been established to help comply with the federal stormwater regulations and improve water quality in a cost-effective manner. At this time, The OWSC meets on a monthly basis to discuss Permit requirements; status of the coalition’s goals and measures taken to date; upcoming events, and prioritizes objectives to be accomplished.
