Ontario County Department of Public Works is responsible for the operation and maintenance of 240 centerline-miles of roads, 1,100 culverts, 75 bridges, 1 regulated dam structure, 16 county buildings, 8 County parks, and 2 sanitary sewer districts, consisting of 103 pump stations, 91 miles of collection sewer, and 1 wastewater treatment plant.
